Elevating Corporate Spaces With a Green Wall at Coca‑Cola’s Atlanta Campus

When it comes to enhancing a flagship corporate environment, greenery isn’t just visual enhancement—it’s a brand experience. At Coca‑Cola’s iconic Atlanta campus, the Builders 2020/Coca‑Cola project team partnered with Upscapers to introduce a premium, always‑green vertical garden system designed to elevate architecture, improve visitor experience, and reinforce the company’s global design standards. Using our multi-species greenery panel system, the project created a lush, modern, maintenance‑free green wall that aligns seamlessly with Coca‑Cola’s legacy of innovation and hospitality.

Why a Green Wall Matters in Corporate Workplace Design

In corporate environments—especially at globally recognized headquarters—every design choice communicates something about the brand. Green walls have become a leading trend in workplace design, offering both visual impact and a biophilic experience that supports employee wellness and visitor perception. For Coca‑Cola, an artificial green wall delivered both the aesthetic and operational advantages needed in a high‑visibility setting:
  • Always‑green, camera‑ready visual consistency
  • Year‑round performance without irrigation
  • A modern, natural design moment that aligns with global brand standards

But creating a refined corporate green wall in a parking garage within a multi‑trade construction environment is anything but simple. From construction sequencing to brand‑driven design precision, this project required careful coordination and architectural consideration.

The Challenge Behind the Beauty

Installing a premium vertical garden at a global brand headquarters comes with unique complexities:

High Brand and Aesthetic Standards

Coca‑Cola’s brand cues—clean design, polished finishes, globally consistent visual quality—meant the wall needed to feel intentional, modern, and in harmony with architectural lines and signage.

Environmental Performance Requirements

Atlanta’s heat, humidity, and seasonal temperature swings demanded a system designed for UV stability, durability, and long‑term colorfastness.

Tight Construction and Scheduling Dependencies

As part of the Builders 2020 timeline, the green wall had to integrate seamlessly into a complex schedule involving structural work, finish trades, public‑facing zones, and operational constraints.

Cross‑Team Consistency

Coca‑Cola’s internal stakeholders, the Builders 2020 team, architects, and installers all needed to stay aligned on scope, sightlines, finishes, and installation timing. The solution needed to meet corporate facility requirements while also delivering a showpiece worthy of a global headquarters.

Design Details That Make It Pop

Upscapers proposed the our multi-species green wall system designed with red accent foliage —engineered specifically for high‑visibility spaces that require both beauty and performance. Key design elements included:

Premium Architectural‑Grade Panels

UpScapers three‑panel variation system creates natural depth and avoids the repetition common in traditional faux greenery—critical for a brand environment photographed daily.

Modular and Future‑Proof

The flexible layout allows Coca‑Cola to extend the installation, reconfigure it, or adapt it for future renovation phases without re‑starting design or demolition.

Engineered for Atlanta’s Climate

The system’s UV‑stable materials, structural stability, and colorfast foliage ensure consistent performance in heat, humidity, and direct sun.

Refined Corporate Aesthetic

Panels were selected and oriented to deliver a lush, polished finish suitable for a flagship corporate exterior or interior facade. They were designed with red accent foliage to align with Coca-Cola's red-themed brand.

Implementation

Design & Coordination

Upscapers collaborated closely with the Builders 2020/Coca‑Cola project team to determine:
  • Exact dimensions for precise panel mapping
  • The most impactful sightlines for employees and visitors
  • A mounting strategy that respected existing architecture and building standards

Logistics & Scheduling

Materials were scheduled to arrive exactly when wall substrates and adjacent finishes were complete—reducing congestion, avoiding rework, and maintaining workflow for other trades.

On‑Site Installation

Certified installation teams completed:
  • Precise trimming around architectural details
  • Seamless panel alignment to eliminate visible transitions
  • Consistent foliage depth for a clean, globally polished look

The final result is a lush, camera‑ready installation suitable for one of the world’s most recognizable corporate headquarters.

Results

A Signature Brand‑Aligned Feature

The green wall now acts as a visual anchor—connecting Coca‑Cola’s heritage of hospitality with modern workplace design.

Minimal Maintenance, Maximum Impact

No watering. No plant replacement. No seasonal shifts. Just a consistently lush, environmentally resilient green feature.

A Better Experience for Employees & Visitors

Vertical greenery softens the corporate environment, improving warmth, wayfinding, visual comfort, and overall atmosphere.

A Repeatable Model for Future Coca‑Cola Sites

Because our green wall system is modular and scalable, this installation becomes a blueprint for future renovations, expansions, or brand‑driven design moments across Coca‑Cola properties.

Why It Matters

This project shows how a strategic artificial green wall can:
  • Turn unused surfaces into meaningful brand experiences
  • Deliver long‑term visual impact without live‑plant maintenance challenges
  • Integrate seamlessly into large, multi‑stakeholder construction environments
  • Support biophilic design goals in a corporate setting
  • Reinforce a global brand’s commitment to modern, people‑first design

For corporations, architects, design teams, or GCs evaluating green walls, the Coca‑Cola Atlanta installation demonstrates exactly what’s possible when craftsmanship, coordination, and premium materials come together.
